WiseRegulation.org in 2023: 1st-anniversary results

Today is the first anniversary of WiseRegulation.org, a non-profit with the mission of advocating for wise regulation of AI and other technologies.

Below I want to highlight the key results of our first  year: 

  1. NATO: In December 2023,  we  briefed the NATO Data and AI Review Board (DARB) on the role of AI in warfare in Ukraine; 
  1. DAIO Case Study:  Conducted the research  “Survival of the Smartest: Defense AI in Ukraine” for The Defense AI Observatory (DAIO);   
  1. Sharing insights:  presented a report “Resilience – The Multifaceted Use of AI in Ukraine” at ICCV 2023 AI + HADR and participated in the panel discussion “What is the Future of the Tank & Ground Warfare?” in the Future of War Conference by Rebellion Research;

  2. New Research:  In 2023, we prepared   15+ research projects  , covering different topics from AI Regulation and Quantum Technologies to Metaverse and Defense AI;
  1. Community: Our community of awesome professionals grew in 2023 from 0 to  2500+. 

In 2024 we plan to continue shaping a future where innovation serves humanity  wisely.
